Diversity and inclusion is essential to our business. Our customers look to us for dynamic innovation, broad thinking, and new perspectives. To achieve our potential, we need people of different cultures, backgrounds and experiences — as well as the inclusive leadership skills — to work across those differences.
A culture of inclusion and belonging allows everyone the opportunity to participate, be heard, be valued and feel empowered to fulfil their potential.
We all win through inclusion – innovation and problem-solving are greatest when people come together from diverse backgrounds with different experiences and mindsets. By embracing diversity and inclusion we build more opportunity for our people and brilliant innovation and problem-solving for our customers.
Developing our approach to inclusion and belonging is one of the key pillars of our sustainability strategy.
In 2021, with the support of Wondrous, we undertook a series of global workshops to understand the experience of working within the Group as a diverse employee. This provided a clearer understanding of what more we can do as a business to ensure that everyone can feel like they belong within the Group. The findings of the workshops have formed the basis of a coordinated workstream to develop the Group’s approach to inclusion and belonging during 2022.
